Here are a couple of pictures I took of Layne at t-ball. The bottom one I took the first week and the second one I took today. I tried to get another one of Layne hitting without the "t" but he is too good. He hit the ball right away so I couldn't get a picture. Tim was able to make it today and is very proud of Layne!!

Looking forward to having dinner with Mandy and Ryan. Layne loves to see them, it just to bad that we won't get to see them for to long.

Well we are off tomorrow. I will try and post some pictures of the kids in the lake.

It has been hot here this week, so we haven't done much. Layne has his last day of t-ball tomorrow. Tim is going to come and watch him play. He hasn't been able to make it yet so he will be there tomorrow.

Went to a meeting at Layne's school last night. We are having a hard time deciding if we are going to send Layne there this year. I have cried and prayed about it and we still don't have a decision. We have to come to a decision by the time I come back from the lake because we have to register for public school on the 3rd of August.

I am ready to go to the Lake!! I will leave on Friday morning and head to the cities. I am a little nervous about finding Jody and Martin's by myself. But once I do it should be a fun weekend!! On Satuerday afternoon we will head to the lake for a week. The kids and I are really looking forward to it, although we miss Tim!!

Mandy and Ryan are coming home for a wedding this weekend, so we will have dinner with them tomorrow night.

We had a great weekend. It was nice to be home. On Friday mom and I took the boys to the amusment park. The twins loved going down the big slide and Layne loves the ferris wheel. We had a nice dinner on Friday night.

The rummage sale went well. I empty 2 totes, but I still have to much stuff. Kristi and her friend want to do another rummage sale in September, so we will do it at my house because we have a good location.

It was nice to be in church today. We hadn't been there in 5 weeks. We had lots of comments on how big the twins are getting.

This is Laynes last week of t-ball. He has really enjoyed it and we will both be sad when its over. I will be busy this week getting ready to go to the cities for a family reunion and then to the lake for a week. Tim is not able to go with so I will be on my own.

Happy birthday Grandma Pam

It is my moms birthday today, so we are making her dinner. We are going to do rotisserie chicken on the grill. I made a spice cake for us and I will make a vanilla gluten free cake for mom. Mom is bring her "friend" Joe over for dinner tonight. It will be nice to meet him.

Took all my stuff down to Kristi's last night for her rummage sale. I can't believe how much stuff we still have even after our rummage sale.

Logan and Brenden were playing on the floor this morning. Logan saw an ant on the floor and tried to pick it up. The ant keep going and Logan went crawling after it. Brenden sat on the floor and laughed at him. I wish I would have had a video camera.

Mom and I are going to take the boys to the amusement park this afternoon. I still have tickets that we didn't use when Katie and JD were here. I will try and post some pics tomorrow.

Paybacks

Tim hit my car this morning. Backing out of our driveway is a very dangerous thing to do at our house. He waited until he got home from lunch to tell me. He also said in the same sentence that he can fix it. LOL. Taking the boys swimming tonight.

P.S.

Logan took his diaper off again this morning. He must reach up under his onsie and rip it off. I don't know what to do.

Farm Pics

Home Again

We love going to the farm! The boys had such a great time! And they were soooo gooood!

Layne and Daulton built a fort and played in it for 2 days. Grandpa Young took them frogg hunting and they managed to catch quite a few frogs. They had a "sleep over" every night on the living room floor. They were so cute together.

The twins loved being outside and playing with the big boys. Logan loved going for rides on Grandpas lawn tractor, but Brenden was scared of it.

We got to eat quite a few things out of the garden. We had potatoes, beets, sugar snap peas, cabbage, carrots, and onions. Grandma Young's gardens are always so beautiful.

It was fun to see Brittany and Abby again. They played with all the boys all weekend so I felt like I was on a mini vacation.

It was such a great time and we can't wait to go back soon!!

My mom and I were going to take the boys down to the pool today because she had the afternoon off, but it is so windy. So we decide to take them to the community center in Mandan to swim instead. We like going there because they have a big pool and some great water slides. We had never taken the twins down the slide before so mom and I thought we should give it a try. We started first with the little slide and both of the boys like it. Mom would stand at the top and I would catch them at the bottom. Brenden had such a priceless look on his face the first time. Scared and excited at the same time. I wish I could have gotten a picture. Logan being the dare devil he is loved every minute and wanted more. We then moved on to the big slide. Mom took Brenden up first, but he was to scared to go down. Logan however couldn't hardly wait his turn. Mom sent him down and he shot out like a bullet. I caught him and he screamed "more". We had a great time today. Mom has next Friday afternoon off to so we may do it again.

I finally finished laundry after supper tonight. I put it all away and finished packing. So I think I am ready to go. I am excited for Daulton and Layne to get to play together. Layne has been asking for days when we are going to go.

Well we are off again for 4 days. So I will write when we get home Tuesday (or maybe Wednesday depending on how the weekend is and my need for recovery).

Layne still had some birthday money so this morning we went to Wal-mart and bought him a new bike without training wheels (thanks Grandma De and Grandpa Lloyd). When we got home Layne was very excited to ride a bike without training wheels. He did very well, he rode up and down the block 3 times. He still needs to work on getting going by himself. I am very proud of him.

Both the boys are on antibiotic now. The both seem to be feeling pretty well. They were tried today though so they went down for a nap early.

I have a Pampered Chef show tonight and still have laundry to do to get ready to go again.

It is a beautiful day here today. We went down to the park were on Wednesday at noon they have music in the park. We took a picnic lunch and then headed over to DQ. The boys really liked the music. After we ate we went over to the playground by the pool and the boys played awhile.

While we were at the park I noticed that Logan wasn't as happy as he usually is and sure enough he too now has a fever. I called the Dr. to see if I can get an antibiotic for him too.

We just got home from t-ball. The coaches pitched the ball again today and Layne was able to hit the ball on the first try all 3 time he was up to bat. He is really enjoining t-ball and was sad when I told him there is only 3 weeks left.

Brenden is still running a fever. I took him to the Dr. last night and he said his throat was very sore, so he gave us an antibiotic just in case it is strep. Brenden fell asleep in my lap yesterday after he woke up from his nap. Now, I don't want my kids to be sick but I sure like it when they cuddle! Logan is being a great brother. He keeps trying to share his toys, milk, and food with Brenden even though he doesn't want anything.

We're back... for now

We're back and we had a great weekend. The boys loved feeding the chickens (although I think Logan ate most of what he was supposed to give to the chickens) and playing in the little river. Layne had a great time lighting off fireworks and catching frogs (and scaring his mother with them). He was so cute in his little safety glasses. Logan and Layne slept until 9:30 on Saturday morning. I wish I could have slept that late! On Sunday Brenden stated to have a fever and it continues to be high yet this morning. He is getting Tylenol and a lot of love.

Well we have another busy week. Layne's friend Hunter is here 3 days this week. I have LWML and a Pampered Chef show. Plus we have to get ready to leave again on Saturday to go see Tim's aunt and her kids at grandma and grandpas farm.

So I just went up to get the boys from there nap and there sits Logan no shoes, no shorts, no diaper. He looks at me points at the floor and says "diaper". I may have to start using duck tape.

I decide to wash the car last night because Layne dumped something sticky out the window and I am too cheap to buy a car wash. As I am washing the car I realized that I can only reach the top of the window. I really am short. So needless to say I only washed the bottom half.

The boys are doing well. Layne is excited to get to the cabin so he can hit smoke bombs with a plastic bat. And I am sure the twins will have a great time running around and playing in the river.

Scott, Debbie, and I took the boys swimming last night. It felt so good!! All the boys had a good time but they were tired when we left.

When I came out of the bathroom this morning the boys were sitting on the floor ripping up a magazine. Logan looks and me and shakes his finger"no no no". Do you think I say that too much?!

Well I am off to do laundry. We are head to Tim's aunt and uncles tomorrow for the 4th. Layne is excited to shoot his bb gun that he got for his b-day!

T-Ball

Layne had t-ball today and they pitched the ball to them instead of hitting off of the tee. Layne did really well, he was able to hit it an make it to second base. Layne's friend Hunter is with us today. He played with the twins while we were at t-ball.
It is very hot here today. I am sitting in front of a fan because I am to cheap to turn the air on. Might have to take the kids swimming to night.
